Spribe Accuses PopOK Gaming of Intellectual Property Infringement

Game developer Spribe, headquartered in Poland, filed a complaint via LinkedIn. In it, the company stated that PopOK Gaming had released a crash game that closely resembles Aviator, a title developed by Spribe. Company representatives claim that the release of this game infringes on their intellectual property rights.

In its complaint, Spribe asserted that it is the sole owner of intellectual property rights for Aviator, with protections in place across most countries. These rights include registered trademarks for the game’s logo. The company also noted that Aviator has passed all required tests and holds certifications in over 30 jurisdictions.

For reference, Aviator is one of the most well-known gambling games in recent years. The title belongs to the category of crash games — arcade-style gambling titles that have brought millions of new players into the iGaming space. Other games in this genre include Lucky Jet, Aviatrix, and especially Jet-X, whose popularity is growing at a rapid pace. This trend is particularly noticeable in India, one of the countries most strongly influenced by the gambling industry.

Experts from the review platform www.jet-x.com.in note that dozens of online casinos in India now feature Jet-X and other crash games. These titles consistently rank at the top of user preferences.

Spribe Warns About Pirate Copies of Aviator

PopOK Gaming is being accused of acting as an unauthorized third party. Allegedly, the company contacted Spribe’s clients in an attempt to sell them a game whose concept and design directly copy Aviator. At the same time, PopOK Gaming representatives reportedly assured clients that they were offering the official version of the game.

Spribe explained that the purpose of the complaint is to protect users from unauthorized copies of Aviator that violate the company’s intellectual property rights. The company claims that PopOK Gaming is deliberately misleading clients by falsely associating their game with the Spribe brand.

The company emphasized that this matter is of great importance. If the issue is not resolved soon, Spribe will file a lawsuit. Company representatives urged operators to conduct an internal investigation to determine whether any unauthorized versions of Aviator that infringe intellectual property rights are present on their platforms. If such versions are found, Spribe called for their immediate removal.

In early 2025, Spribe expanded its partnership with UFC and added WWE. At all UFC events, the Aviator logo will be prominently displayed inside the octagon. As part of the agreement, UFC will run social media campaigns promoting the video game. Aviator is also the official crash game partner of Italian football club AC Milan.
